Winter sport at Wilder Kaiser
Skiing is a real ‘Gaudi’, or rather ‘joy’. There are also plenty of other activities away from the pistes awaiting Kaisers of all ages. Tobogganing for instance, during which the adventurers out there among you get to speed down the track. Alternatively, how about a leisurely snow-shoe hike or a horse-drawn carriage ride through the snow-covered winter landscape? And which one of the children will manage a pirouette on the ice rink?
A sled ride is always a lovely experience for all the family. Race Dad, suppress a laugh when your sister topples at the bend, crashing into a big mound of snow. There is some 14 kilometres in total for toboggan fans to look forward to on the Wilder Kaiser, over four tracks.
While winter and snow-shoe hiking you get to experience nature with all your senses. The crunch of footsteps in the snow, the delicate flakes that fall on your nose, the soft winter sunshine on your skin. A ride in a horse-drawn carriage or in a dog sled provides variety.
